A ride that fits four people can still leave your bike box on the kerb. Tell us what you are carrying and we help you get a clear yes from a real operator, or give you a sheet to send to any shuttle or taxi company yourself.

What to ask any operator

Can you carry my bike case, passengers and bags together, in one vehicle? Which vehicle?
What is the total fare, and does it include the bike, tolls and waiting time?
What happens if my flight is late, and what is the cancellation rule?
Please confirm all of this in writing before I pay.

Common questions

Will an Uber XL or Lyft XL fit my bike box?

Ride-hailing apps list vehicle classes, not bike-case fit. A larger class gives you more room, but no app promises a specific box will fit. If you use one, message the driver your case size before they arrive, and have a backup plan.

How big is a bike travel case?

Soft bags and hard cases for a triathlon bike are typically well over a metre long and much longer than a standard suitcase. The longest side is usually what decides whether it fits, not total cargo space. See the table above for manufacturer sizes.

What vehicle do I need for a bike case?

Many cases will not fit a sedan trunk. Operators commonly use a van, minivan or SUV with seats folded, but only the operator can say what works for your case, your passengers and your luggage together. Ask them to confirm in writing.
